Congrats! You’ve been an important part of my morning routine since I subscribed a few months ago. As someone who went to journalism school in the days when newspapers were king, The Agenda scratches all of my newsie itches.

It is good that you are "needling U.S. Rep. Juan Ciscomani." I am so glad you devoted this issue to a look at "behind the curtain." You have probably already figured out that I am avid reader of TA. But I am also deeply interested in what goes into creating a productive and effective news source. This was a treat. Congratulations on your two year anniversary, and, of course, best wishes for many more!

It’s only fitting that Independence Day week should celebrate an independent news source. As the progeny of an LA Times editor and as a government communications veteran, I appreciate the Agenda’s attention to detail but also it’s “cheeky” take on issues that deserve it. We’re indebted to you for keeping an eye or two on the never-ending legislative circus where we can’t tell the bozos without a program. ¡Saludes!
