I sound like a broken record but Bloom Energy signed a huge contract to supply Oracle’s AI centers with power generated by extracting oxygen from the atmosphere. I worked with KR Sridhar when he was a professor at the University of Arizona. I am certainly against TEP raising electricity rates to pay for the DMAFB AI center. Second, there are methods being developed to cool AI centers with artificial coolants (not water) and immersing the servers in these artificial coolants to keep them cool! Something that has not been raised, the Department of Defense must develop AI to keep our military ahead of the Chinese military! I flew an F-16 simulator at the Montana Air National Guard Base many years ago and was doing fine until a simulated enemy aircraft was put into the scenario and about five other data screens were flashed on the screen before my eyes. Talk about information overload!!! We need AI to handle this massive amount of information and sift through it very quickly and give the pilot the best assessment of the threat environment!!!
Today’s edition felt like reading the newspaper again and I felt all the nostalgia. Great work as always!
Between you all, NPR News Hour, and channel 4, I get all the news I can stand! So I can put my energy into action! Thank you!
