Many thanks to the free subscribers who read yesterday’s newsletter and decided to upgrade to paid subscriptions!
We’ve still got a long way to go before we won’t have to worry about our finances, but those upgrades moved the needle, and they were a great morale boost.
Today, we’re asking again for your support. Every little bit counts as we try to keep the U.S.S. Agenda afloat for another year.
So, as you go about your weekend celebrating Independence Day, consider supporting independent media.
It’s as patriotic as a good old-fashioned barbecue (plus, an annual subscription lasts a lot longer than an afternoon of chowing down on hamburgers and hot dogs. Just sayin’).
We’ll leave you with this little political tidbit.
Pima County officials are trying to find someone to replace former Treasurer Brian Johnson after his relatively short time in office led to allegations of sexual harassment and an abrupt resignation.
We don’t know exactly who that will be, but it’s going to be one of these people, per insiders at the county:
Brian Bickel
Daniel Dempsey
Derrick Espadas
Sami Hamed
James Hannley
Derika Louk
Jake Martin
Karla Morales
Jorge Soto
Anyway, we’re gonna get back to working on next week’s newsletters.
