Also the Marana Town Council meeting will feature speakers spotlighting the possibility and disastrous impact of an ICE detention center moving in to a vacant former prison.

Am at the Amphi Board room waiting for the mtng to start (tardy, by almost a ½ hour. Demerit!). A young gal next to me wears a hoodie that says "FREEDOM" on the front, with "Charlie Kirk A true Patriot" on the back. I asked if FREEDOM means for everyone.... Crickets. So I said "You're not being affirmative. That's too bad." Not wishing to cause more issues; staying adult, if I can😆😐🤬
Documenting the continuing LIEFEST when our MAGAt Congressman finally makes an appearance in Tucson. He told business leaders in Tucson about the worst administration in American history’s commitment to research and development on the same day that the Washington Post ran an article documenting that the Orange Monster had stopped 383 NIH clinical trials which basically condemned 75,000 desperately ill Americans to death! We will see if the pedophile protector Juan will vote today to release the Epstein files???
I hope Councilmember Lee is appointed vice mayor. She is balanced and moderate, forms her policy stances based on both her district’s AND the community’s majority voice, and she is willing to engage with people who she disagrees with. I think this effort to make public fentanyl use a misdemeanor that the city attorney’s office can prosecute is wise. Although it will no doubt require some structural shifts, it speaks to something we can all agree on: the substances contribute to the unsheltered homelessness; therefore, the substances are the target here.
I just read a report by the New Yorker that closing the U.S. International Aid Agency by the Orange Monster and his RepubliCON sycophants (looking at you Juan the MAGAt) has resulted in the deaths of over 500,000 children throughout the world! These clowns are not only pedophile protectors but their actions killed 500,000 poor children. Please remember the story about $500,000 USD of the special food mixture they feed these starving babies was destroyed by the Orange Monster even though the Clinton Foundation offered to buy these vital food aid and distribute it to these starving children! The Orange Monster and his RepubliCON ilk are total scum!!!
